This family of two is growing soon. We took to one of my favorite locations to shoot in northern New Jersey at the New Jersey Botanical Gardens. Even though there isn't much growing in late February, there is still a photographer's playground of beautiful scenery. Despite the cold weather, these two were in great spirits and excited about getting some great images. Their love for each other and their excitement about their growing family is apparent. Plenty more images after the break.

It is always an honor to have the opportunity to be a part of a friends wedding. Amanda has been like a little sister to me for the past few years and I was so excited to have the opportunity to celebrate her love and document her commitment to Tyler. It was a beautiful, albeit cold fall day in the Catskill mountains. The scenery and the weather cooperated to create a photographers dream. I am so excited to share some (probably too many) of my favorite images from their day!
These two were a pleasure to work with and I can't wait to shoot their 2016 wedding. Going to the shore was a great way to celebrate the late summer. Both the weather and the sunset cooperated completely. Keansburg and Sandy Hook created a perfect backdrop. So warm up to these images as the weather is starting to cool down.
Mickey and Frances had a wonderful day. The weather cooperated and the sun shined as bright as their love for each other. I am very excited to share what is probably too many images from their wedding but it was hard to limit myself considering there were so many favorites. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Second camera: Josh Third camera: Daniel Entertainment: Jimmy Dee Entertainment Makeup Artist: FABFACES By Dominique Every once in a while you get an opportunity to shoot a wedding for someone that you have known half of your life. I was happy to get the call to be a part of Liz's big day. This post is jam packed with some of my favorite images from the day. I found it really hard to cut down the selection for this blog post. Their day was beautiful and the weather cooperated for a nice wonderful day.
Thanks to Dave Shay for your partnership on this day! More images from this wedding can be found on his blog as well. More images of these two can be found here. What's the last time you met someone and instantly felt a connection with them? This doesn't happen frequently but I was so excited to meet Mickey and Frances. They are just plain awesome. We got together for some Starbucks and started chatting about life. These two have an infectious love for one another and it showed.
Aaron and Karly are long time friends of mine and I was honored when Karly said that she wanted to document the very precious time in their family's life as she is about ready to have their second child. We went to Applewood Winery in Warwick and used their amazing landscape and barnyard architecture as a backdrop for some amazing family photos.
Sometimes as a photographer you meet a couple so down to earth and simply awesome that you simply enjoy working with them. Ryan and Pamela meet that criteria. They are a fun loving couple with an adoration for their dog Junior. They asked if Junior could join them for their engagement shoot and of course I obliged. Even though I am NOT a pet whisperer photographer, I am excited about the resulting images. Their upcoming wedding will be so much fun to document and I can't wait to do more with them and for them!
The thunderstorm that is passing through reminded me of the last thunderstorm that I shot through. Hoping that it doesn't repeat, this particular storm knocked out the power for several hours. Having family in from town for only a day or two meant that a reschedule for the remaining images was not a possibility. What does a photographer do without light? They create enough light to make the camera focus correctly and to finish the shoot. The images below were shot in pitch black. Could you tell? The client couldn't.
Brian has been a poet and author of short stories. He has been in the creative field for a long time but has recently changed pseudonyms. Check his author page out on Facebook here. He wanted something that showed a lot of character and personality and displayed the darkness in his art form. I think we definitely nailed that while managing to make a number of photographs that I am very excited to share with him and the world! It is quite exciting when his artistic vision and mine were so well aligned for this shoot.
